Three Ways to Sip into Summer with Simple Life Winery Rosé

Simple Life Winery Rosé

While winter sets in… I think we’d all like to mentally transport ourselves to summer. You in? For Mack and me, summer is always associated with the beach. But I know that for some of you, the beach means vacation. So, let’s chat about three ways to sip into the summer (and feel like you’re on a socially distanced vacation!) no matter where you are geographically. The quickest way to be transported into that summer feeling is to make that pivotal transition from pinot noir to rosé!

There’s just something about a chilled glass of rosé enjoyed outdoors that emulates bliss unlike any other. Am I right, or am I right? Hit play on the Summer Acoustics playlist on Spotify and let’s chat about three ways to sip into summer with Simple Life Winery Rosé.

Three Ways to Sip into Summer with Simple Life Winery Rosé

Sip #1: At-Home Happy Hour (the only place to sip as of late!)

Although I am not the best cook, I am a skilled at-home bartender. I think some of you can relate! Luckily, it doesn’t take much talent to open a bottle of wine. In the summer time, we always opt to sip some wine on the patio before dinner time. Last summer, we invested in our patio space and we are so glad we did. This patio houses some of the best conversations with no distractions- just a refreshing glass of wine, our puppies and us. I swear, we can sit there for hours.

Creating a ritual of throwing an at-home happy hour in the summer is easy! Just keep a few bottles of your favorite rosé on hand always (make sure you keep at least one bottle chilled). Then, leave your iPhone inside, take your bluetooth speaker outside with you and voila! I give you happy hour. If you don’t already throw yourself happy hour… girl, you gotta start.

Sip #2: Pack a Picnic

If you follow me on Instagram then you know that we have an unspoken rule on the weekends: no driving. Mostly because the traffic makes it impossible to get anywhere. But that’s besides the point. We just love to take our cruiser bikes everywhere. The beach, the grocery store, to get coffee, you name it… we are cruising.

I recently picked up this picnic basket because well, it matches my watermelon towel so I needed it. But more importantly, it fits in the basket on my bike. Now we can bring the essentials (snacks and sips) anywhere we venture to.

Look for any excuse to be outdoors this summer and pack a picnic. All you need is; a towel, picnic basket (or tote bag), food selections of your choice and of course, wine. I am feeling those Parisian vibes already and can’t wait to embrace that feeling all summer long.

Sip #3: Linger for Sunset

Okay, I have a confession. I have a serious THING for sunsets. I find such peace in them, especially when I am at the beach. My summer days last longer when I linger for the sunset. The day cools down, the crowds disperse and I am left with stunning scenery that reminds me just how small I am in the world (which I kinda love — do you?).

But you don’t have to be at the beach to linger for sunset all summer long. Everyone has that favorite spot to just sit, take the world in and reflect. I don’t know about you but I do my best reflecting while sipping. No matter where you are in the world, sunsets are always beautiful. A universal love language if you ask me. Well that, and rosé, of course.

How are you dreaming of sipping into summer? If you haven’t already tried Simple Life Winery Rosé, it’s a must. This rose gold spirit is refreshing, understated and just what you need as we await summer’s arrival!
